By accessing our website and/or placing an order, you agree to these Terms & Conditions.
2. Using the website and creating an account
You may browse the website without creating an account. Some features (such as viewing order history) may require an account.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login details and for all activity under your account.
We may suspend or close accounts where we reasonably suspect fraud, abuse, or breach of these Terms.
3. Products and information
- We aim to present accurate product descriptions, images, and pricing. Minor variations may occur (for example packaging updates by manufacturers).
Information on this website is provided for general purposes and does not constitute professional or medical advice.
4. Prices, VAT, and payment
- Prices are shown in EUR and include VAT unless stated otherwise.
Shipping costs (if applicable) are shown at checkout before you place your order.
Payments are processed via Stripe. We do not store full card details.
5. Orders and acceptance
- Placing an order is an offer to purchase.
An order is accepted when we confirm it (for example by email confirmation and/or by dispatch/pickup readiness notification).
We may refuse or cancel an order if a product is unavailable, if there is a pricing/listing error, if delivery is not possible, or if we reasonably suspect unauthorised or fraudulent activity. If payment has already been taken, we will refund you.
6. Delivery and Click & Collect
Delivery area: Cyprus only.
Courier: ACS Courier.
Delivery times are estimates and may vary due to factors outside our control (for example courier delays, peak periods, or weather).
Click & Collect: If you choose pickup at checkout, we will notify you when your order is ready for collection. Collection is available during salon working hours: Tuesday – Saturday, 09:00–19:00. We may request your order number and identification at collection.
7. Returns, refunds, and consumer rights
Our Shipping & Returns Policy forms part of these Terms and explains returns, withdrawal rights, eligibility, timeframes, and refund rules.
Key points:
Consumers purchasing online generally have a 14-day right of withdrawal, subject to legal exceptions.
For health and hygiene reasons, we do not accept returns of sealed goods that have been unsealed after delivery. Returns are accepted only for eligible items that are unopened, unused, sealed, in original packaging and resalable condition.
If an item arrives damaged, incorrect, or missing, please contact contact@effectivehair.cy as soon as possible so we can investigate and assist.
Nothing in these Terms limits your mandatory rights under Cyprus/EU consumer protection law.
8. Promotions and discount codes
- Discount codes and promotions may be subject to conditions (for example expiry dates, minimum spend, or product exclusions).
We may refuse or cancel orders where we reasonably believe a promotion has been misused or applied fraudulently.
Unless stated otherwise, promotions cannot be combined.
9. Reviews and user content
If you submit reviews, comments, or other content, you confirm it is accurate, lawful, and does not infringe third-party rights. We may remove content that is misleading, unlawful, abusive, or otherwise inappropriate.
10. Acceptable use
You must not:
attempt unauthorised access to the website or its systems,
introduce malware or harmful code,
scrape, harvest data, or overload the website with automated requests,
use the website for unlawful purposes.
We may restrict access where we reasonably believe the website is being misused.

All content on this website (including branding, text, images, graphics, and design) is owned by us or our licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, or exploit it without written permission, except for personal, non-commercial use.

13. Third-party services

We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses (such as loss of profits, business, or opportunity).
We are not responsible for delays or failures caused by events outside our reasonable control (for example courier disruptions, strikes, outages, or force majeure).
Nothing in these Terms excludes liability where it would be unlawful to do so or limits your mandatory consumer rights.

16. Governing law and jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Cyprus. The courts of Cyprus have jurisdiction, subject to any mandatory consumer protection rules that may apply to you as an EU consumer.
