1. What this policy covers
This policy explains how effectivehair.cy, operated by N. Evgeniou Limited (see our Privacy Policy for full details), uses cookies and similar technologies — including browser storage ("localStorage" / "sessionStorage"), which we cover here as well because they serve similar purposes.
Cookies are small text files placed on your device by a website. Browser storage is information a website saves in your browser. Some are essential for the site to work; others run only with your consent.
2. Your choices — the cookie banner
On your first visit you'll see a consent banner with three options:
- Accept All — enables analytics cookies as well as essential ones;
- Reject All — only essential cookies/storage are used; analytics stays off;
- Customize — choose category by category.
Essential items cannot be switched off because the shop cannot function without them (e.g. keeping your cart, keeping you signed in, processing payment securely).
Changing your mind: you can change your choice at any time via the "Cookie settings" link in the website footer. If you withdraw consent for analytics, analytics cookies are deleted immediately. You can also delete cookies in your browser settings at any time (see section 7).

4. Analytics cookies (only with your consent)
We use Google Analytics 4 to understand how visitors use the site so we can improve it. IP addresses are anonymised. These cookies are set only after you accept them:

If you reject analytics, these cookies are not set (and are deleted if present). Regardless of your choice, Google Analytics may receive minimal, cookieless technical signals that are not connected to any identifier and cannot be linked to you.
5. Third-party content
Our contact page contains an embedded Google Map showing the salon's location. When that page loads, your browser connects to Google, which may set its own cookies and process technical data under Google's own privacy policy (policies.google.com/privacy).
Our homepage Instagram gallery is self-hosted — the images are served from our own server and no Instagram code runs on our site; Instagram is only contacted if you click through to a post. Our promotional video links to YouTube in a new tab — nothing from YouTube loads on our site.
6. What we do NOT use
We do not use advertising or social-media tracking cookies (no Meta/Facebook Pixel, no ad networks, no cross-site tracking).
7. Managing cookies in your browser
You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings (look for "Privacy" or "Cookies" in Chrome, Safari, Firefox or Edge, including on mobile). Blocking essential cookies may prevent parts of the shop — such as sign-in, the cart or checkout — from working.
