Shipping (Cyprus & Greece only)
Where we ship
We currently ship only within Cyprus and Greece.
Courier
All orders are delivered using ACS Courier.
Order processing
Orders are usually processed within 1–2 business days after payment is confirmed (excluding weekends and public holidays).
Estimated delivery times
Delivery times depend on your location and ACS route schedules:
Main cities: typically 1–2 business days
Remote areas: typically 2–4 business days
These are estimates and may be affected by peak periods, weather, or courier volume.
Shipping cost
Shipping costs are shown at checkout before you place your order.
Tracking
If tracking is available, you will receive dispatch and tracking details by email once your order has been shipped.
Delivery details
Please ensure your delivery address and phone number are correct. Failed delivery attempts or incorrect details may cause delays or additional charges based on ACS procedures.
Click & Collect (Pickup from salon)
If you choose Pickup at checkout, we will email you when your order is ready for collection.
Withdrawal period for Click & Collect orders
For Click & Collect (pickup) orders, the 14-day withdrawal period starts from the day you collect the order from the salon.
You can collect your order during the salon working hours:
Tuesday – Saturday, 9:00–19:00
Please bring your order confirmation (email or order number) when collecting.
Returns & Refunds
1) Right of withdrawal (online purchases)
If you are a consumer purchasing online, you have the right to withdraw from your purchase within 14 days from the day you receive your order, subject to the exceptions below.
To exercise your right of withdrawal, you must notify us by email at contact@effectivehair.cy within the 14-day period, stating your order number and the item(s) you wish to return.
2) Hygiene and sealed products (important)
For health and hygiene reasons, we do not accept returns of goods that were supplied sealed and have been unsealed after delivery.
This means we only accept returns for unopened, unused, sealed items in their original packaging and in resalable condition.
Condition of returned goods
You may inspect goods as you would in a physical shop. If the goods are handled beyond what is necessary to establish their nature and condition, we may reduce the refund to reflect any loss in value. For sealed hygiene products, unsealing the product makes it ineligible for return.
3) How to request a return (within 14 days)
Email contact@effectivehair.cy with:
Subject: Return request – Order #[your order number]

Reason for return (optional but helpful)
If your return is eligible, we will reply with return instructions and the returns address.
Returning the goods after withdrawal
If you withdraw from your purchase, you must send the goods back to us within 14 days from the day you notified us of your withdrawal. The return must meet the conditions in this policy (unopened, unused, sealed, in original packaging and resalable condition).
4) Return shipping costs
- Change of mind / withdrawal: You cover the direct cost of return shipping.
Wrong item, transit damage, or defective item: We will cover the return shipping cost or arrange collection (depending on the case).
5) Damaged parcels, wrong items, or missing items
If your order arrives damaged, you received the wrong item, or something is missing, please contact us at contact@effectivehair.cy as soon as possible and ideally within 48 hours of delivery so we can investigate quickly and, where relevant, open a claim with ACS.
This does not affect your statutory rights.
6) Refunds (timing and method)
If you withdraw from your purchase and the returned items meet the return conditions:
We will issue your refund within 14 days from the day you inform us of your withdrawal.
We may withhold the refund until we receive the returned goods or you provide evidence that you have sent them back (whichever happens first).
What is refunded
The price of the returned item(s)
The standard delivery charge you paid (if any)
What is not refunded
Any additional delivery costs if you selected a more expensive delivery option than our standard option
Return shipping costs for change-of-mind returns
Refunds are made to the original payment method.
Payment processing times
Once we issue a refund, your bank or payment provider may take additional time to process and display the refund, depending on their procedures.
